+I MISSED JJLIN'S SINGAPORE TOUR 2009!! COZ I'M IN BLOODY BRUNEI!!!
+JJLin's Singapore Concert took place on 28 March 2009, in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. I heard it's good! But it was held during Earth Hour! LMAO.
+Anyway, I discovered something about Brunei today. Ok, so we have this shuttle service that drives us from camp to Gadong, Brunei's "answer" to Bugis, although I assure you, it's NO WHERE near. The shuttle service leaves the camp at 1.30pm and usually it isn't very punctual. So, my friend, ShengShi, and I walked to the guard room at 1.35pm(trust me, usually the shuttle would still be there), only to be told by a certain SSG that the shuttle has left. We were like, "WTH?! Are you kidding me?"
+Yeah, so we missed the shuttle service. But we booked out anyway. Coz ShengShi told me about a special aspect of Brunei. Hitchhiking. Yes, hitchhiking. Like stick out your thumb by the roadside hitchhiking. And so we did just that, and within 30 seconds, I'm serious, a car stopped, a jolly fellow asked us where we were going and we hopped on. Incredible, isn't it?
+He introduced himself as JoJo, and gave us his contact. He said we could call him anytime, even if it's midnight. How cool is that? Yeah although he charged us $2 per person, I found this experience really new and amazing, something that "only happens in movies". No matter how low the crime rate is in Singapore, I don't think I would dare to jump into a stranger's car, just like that. Not that Singaporeans would stop their car for strangers anyway. Here, however, it is different. You can feel the people's passion and I think it's got to do with their way of life. So, I found it really easy to trust the people there.
+And you know what? Due to the cheap petrol in Brunei, there are NO motorcycles in Brunei! Zero!

+Oh yes. Remember the Japanese restaurant I mentioned a few entries back? We ate there again today. The Bill was $25, we paid $26, and when we were about to leave, the waitress stopped us.
+"Sir, you paid $10 extra."
*ShengShi and I exchange stunned looks*
"Oh yeah! Ok thanks!"
*Takes the $10 note and leaves in a hurry*
+All I can say is - I WILL return to the restaurant again. LOL
